Environmental Services and Remediation

Environmental Design & Construction has installed a number of product recovery, groundwater remediation, and vapor extraction/treatment systems. These systems remove a variety of organic and inorganic contaminants from product plumes or groundwater.

Environmental Design & Construction has the ability to maximize the value of surplus equipment and recover assets. Environmental Design & Construction can also reduce demolition and remediation costs.
  • Capping & Closures - Environmental Design & Construction can construct storage facilities ranging from temporary containment areas for contaminated soils to sophisticated operational landfill units for disposal of industrial wastes.
  • UST Removal - Environmental Design & Construction has managed numerous projects involving the removal of UST and AST storage tanks. In addition to conventional fuel tanks, Environmental Design & Construction routinely encounter tanks containing solvents, acids, resins, pesticides and NORM waste.
  • Decontamination - Decontamination of building surfaces, contents and other areas containing surface contamination with hazardous materials is one of the important services offered by Environmental Design & Construction. Our approach is to remove heavy metals, pesticides, PCB's and other contaminants from the affected surfaces in order that the contaminated structures can be reused or disposed of at a non-hazardous facility.
